The Green Bay Packers entered the 2022 NFL draft with two picks in the first round, sitting at No. 22 and No. 28 respectively.
Most analysts thought the team would use one of those picks on a wide receiver. However, after six wide receivers came off the board early, they opted to draft two standout Georgia defensive players: linebacker Quay Walker and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt.
On Friday morning, NFL insider Ian Rapoport named the one wide receiver Aaron Rodgers wanted the team to draft – if he was there. According to Rapoport, Rodgers did the “most homework” on former Arkansas star Treylon Burks.
“The word I got was that Treylon Burks was the guy Aaron Rodgers wanted and he went early to Tennessee,” Rapoport said.
Fans all wanted to see what Burks and Rodgers could have done on the field together.
“Aaron and I had that in common. Burks to Green Bay would have been something,” one analyst said.

Others think the Titans are paving the way to trade for Rodgers next season.
“Everyone out here complaining about AJ Brown when J-Rob is setting up for a Rodgers trade next year,” another fan said.
