Change is the theme of the offseason for the Washington Commanders. It began in the front office and on the sidelines and continued with the roster in March. No position on Washington’s roster has undergone more change than the most important one: Quarterback.
Sam Howell (traded), Jacoby Brissett (free agency) and Jake Fromm (released) are all gone. Replacing them are Jayden Daniels, Marcus Mariota, Jeff Driskel and Sam Hartman. In addition to a completely new quarterback room, the Commanders have a new offensive coordinator in Kliff Kingsbury.
How much better is Washington’s quarterback room in 2024? The addition of Kingsbury and three other offensive assistants on staff who’ve played the position before will help. However, Daniels is the primary reason why the Commanders’ QB room should be better in 2024.
