The Washington Commanders won their first playoff game in 19 years on Sunday, defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-20 after kicker Zane Gonzalez booted a 37-yard field goal as time expired.
It was another unforgettable performance from Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels. Daniels completed 24 of 35 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns. He also led the Commanders with 36 rushing yards, including a critical third-down run with under one minute remaining to put his team in position for the win.
No surprise, but social media was fired up about Washington’s latest win — it’s sixth in a row. We found some of the best reactions to the Commanders’ playoff win on X — formerly Twitter.

What a win for my Commanders tonight! Another last second field goal by Zane Gonzalez to get our franchise’s first Playoff win since 2005!
Bobby Wagner had a huge defensive play with his fumble recovery and Jayden Daniels once again showed true composure down the stretch and…

I tell you what, Detroit better blow our doors off. Because if they let WSH within 7 and give it back to Jayden late, they might be victim number 6 in the 4th Q.

Jayden Daniels is going to be the next great QB in this league.

I been a Washington fan since 1982. It’s been a long run. Some good. Some bad. But it’s amazing to be nervous for a playoff game again. And my little girls or growing to love the team. They just might have a lot of fun over the next several years.
