The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have a new head coach in 2022.
According to NBC Sports NFL insider Peter King, Bucs head coach Bruce Arians has decided to retire from head coaching.
Arians will step into a front office role, while the Buccaneers will be led by defensive coordinator Todd Bowles.
The Buccaneers’ staff was reportedly informed of the move this hour.
“BREAKING: Bruce Arians retiring from coaching, moving to @Buccaneers‘ front office, reports me and @LATimesFarmer. Defensive coordinator Todd Bowles picked to replace him. Staff being told the news at this hour,” King reports.

It’s been a pretty wild offseason for the Buccaneers, who have now gotten Tom Brady out of retirement, while losing their head coach.
Tampa Bay is coming off a Divisional Round loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
The Buccaneers won a Super Bowl following the 2020 season.
