Just in case the Buffalo Bills didn’t have enough firepower on offense, they decided to use the 63rd pick on Georgia running back James Cook.
Cook, the brother of Vikings star tailback Dalvin Cook, was projected to be a mid-round pick in this year’s draft. In his final season at Georgia, he had 728 rushing yards, 284 receiving yards and 11 total touchdowns.
Even though Cook had to split carries at Georgia, he showcased his versatility and explosiveness on a weekly basis.
Now, Cook will have the chance to join an offense in Buffalo that needs a boost at running back.

The Bills’ backfield currently consists of Devin Singletary, Zack Moss and Duke Johnson.
Cook probably won’t have a large workload early on in his career, but he could work his way up the depth chart as early as this fall.
After just missing out on the AFC Championship this past January, the Bills are hell-bent on making a deeper run next postseason.
