The NFLPA revealed the results of its second annual report cards on Wednesday, and the Washington Commanders didn’t fare well. That’s not unexpected, considering the franchise’s overall issues under former owner Dan Snyder.
The NFLPA report cards allow players to grade different aspects of the team, such as team travel, the locker room, ownership, the head coach and the training staff.
Washington is often criticized for its substandard facilities, which is a persistent problem new owner Josh Harris inherited when he purchased the Commanders from Dan Snyder last year. Those poor facilities remain an issue, but ownership has improved. Harris and his partners recently committed $75 million in upgrades to the stadium and team facilities since taking over.
The NFLPA added new categories this year, including grading ownership and the head coach. The Commanders scored well in one of those categories.
Unfortunately, Washington finished 32nd in the NFL — it’s the same ranking as last year.
