The Washington Commanders knew that Jayden Daniels was special when they drafted him with the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, but even they didn’t know just how impactful Daniels would be this season. His ability to succeed was not in question, but how successful he would be was a surprise to the entire league.
Because Daniels was so dynamic this season in setting several new records, he was awarded the Pepsi Offensive Rookie of the Year award and AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award. The Commanders have thrown all of their support behind Daniels, and now they’ve added an exclamation point to that support in the form of a billboard.
The Commanders got a billboard on New York Ave. in D.C., took out ads in The Washington Post and The Washington Times, and created a separate web page in honor of Jayden Daniels’s Offensive Rookie of the Year award.https://t.co/ZiffbehGoh pic.twitter.com/7yAR6oNFSI

Not only did they take out a billboard, but they took out ads in The Washington Post and The Washington Times and created a dedicated web page for the award.
After a 4-13 season in 2023, the Commanders merely hoped to have a better record in 2024. However, they got a crazy-talented rookie quarterback who took this team to a 12-win season and made a deep playoff run. Needless to say, the organization and the fan base are incredibly excited to have Daniels around.
