You can’t have the type of season Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels did and come away from the NFL Honors ceremony with only one award.
The NFL’s annual awards show kicked off Thursday night when Daniels was named the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Daniel was named Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Year earlier on Thursday.
Daniels finished his Thursday with yet another award: Daniels’ 52-yard touchdown pass to Noah Brown to defeat the Chicago Bears in Week 8 was named the Next Gen Stats Moment of the Year.
Otherwise known as the “Hail Mary,” the play was a highlight for Washington and Daniels in a season full of them.

After taking the stage earlier in the night, Daniels didn’t have much to say the second time.
Congratulations to Daniels and his teammates, as the “Hail Mary” will not soon be forgotten for Washington fans and those in Northwest Stadium in Week 8.
