Poll questions!!
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Washington Commanders fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in regular email surveys.
We’re back with another Reacts survey to fill in the slight void between the end of free agent frenzy and the NFL draft.
Today, we have two survey questions.
Question One
In a prior Reacts survey, a plurality of Hogs Haven readers expressed the preference to trade back in next week’s draft to acquire more picks.
A significant number of mock drafts by Commanders fans and others have demonstrated a propensity to look for trade partners in order to beef up the number of top-100 picks Washington can use next Thursday and Friday (and early Saturday).
I have even heard one voice crying out in the wilderness for the Commanders to move UP in the draft in an effort to add an elite player to the roster earlier in the first round.
Washington currently holds 5 picks in the Draft per Tankathon:

Today’s first question simply asks you to predict how many player in total the Commanders will draft next week.
Question Two
As much as we love BPA, we also acknowledge that strategic drafting takes into account the availability of players from top to bottom as well as awareness of roster strengths and weaknesses.
Thinking about this as a betting proposition as opposed to simply trusting the GM to do the right thing on Thursday and Friday, in today’s second question, we’ve offered a list of 4 defensive positions and 4 offensive positions (8 total, with betting odds from FanDuel for reference) and are asking you to predict which position the Commanders will select first in next week’s draft.
Comments & Results
Speaking of the comments sections, we of course, invite you to answer the survey questions below, but also hope you feel free to expand on your answers and provide nuance in the comments section that follows. I rely on those comments when discussing the results of the survey when they are posted in a separate article in a few days.
