The Washington Commanders defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 38-33 in the Week 3 edition of Monday Night Football. Washington came to Cincinnati as a heavy underdog, and the winless Bengals badly needed a win to turn their season around.
However, rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels had other plans. The rookie passer was flawless throughout the game, completing 21 of 23 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns. Daniels also picked up multiple first downs on the ground and rushed for a touchdown.
Daniels was phenomenal, while Washington’s defense struggled again. The good news was the Commanders made more defensive stops than the Bengals, which proved to be the difference in Monday’s game.
It’s report card time. We hand out our weekly grades for the Commanders from Week 3.
