Dan Quinn speaks to the media before practice
Dan Quinn gave some injury updates before today’s practice. Austin Ekeler and Andrew Wylie are in the concussion protocol, and won’t practice today. He said it’s good to see Ekeler doing better after the hit he took on Sunday. This was Ekeler’s second concussion this season.
Marshon Lattimore(hamstring) will participate in his first practice with the team since he was traded from the Saints on November 5th. Brian Robinson Jr will also practice after suffering an ankle injury vs the Cowboys. Both were limited in practice.
Quinn was asked about placing kicker Austin Seibert on injured reserve after having his worst game with the team, missing three kicks. He said Seibert reported a groin injury on Monday, and it would “knock him out for a few weeks”. He was also not kicking it out of the end zone, and saying that’s harder than it seems. The Commanders have the lowest touchback rate in the league, but Quinn said they do love the cover kicks.
Where Terry McLaurin lines up has been a discussion topic for a few weeks. He primarily lines up on the left side, and he has not bee targeted as much as many people feel he should be. Quinn was asked about this, and gave a long-winded answer on preferences for teams and schemes.

Titans run defense:
Clearly, the Commanders have a sense of urgency to end this three game losing streak.
But is there a concern about over compensating or trying to do too much?
Dan Quinn said, “you don’t have to put the cape on man. All of us have to do our role really well.” pic.twitter.com/lJRdHP1z2a

4th downs:
DQ says the team has stayed consistent in 4th down mindset, but the lack of 3rd down success has been a factor with fewer 4th down attempts.
