Dan Quinn speaks to the media before practice
The Washington Commanders are back in Ashburn for the sixth day of training camp practices. The fans are back for the second day in a row, and it’s also the second day players will be in pads. Quinn highlighted some players that stood out yesterday like John Bates, Jonathan Allen, Dorance Armstrong, Mike Sainristil, and Kazmeir Allen. He said Sainristil is settling into the slot corner role, and also told DC Joe Whitt Jr that Quan Martin will be one of the best tacklers on the team.

OL movement:
DQ says Washington is intentionally moving guys around on the O – line to get different looks. I think as we see different guys at LG, LT and RT we should keep that in mind. Only spots locked up are C & RG.
— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) July 30, 2024
Dan Quinn acknowledged Sam Cosmi and Tyler Biadasz are staples on the OL with Nick Allegretti almost there. Mixing and matching will continue, though, as the staff gauges position versatility.
