On Thursday night, the Arizona Cardinals acquired wide receiver Marquise Brown from the Baltimore Ravens. He should elevate their receiving corps for the 2022 season.
With Brown now on the Cardinals’ roster, ESPN’s Matt Miller believes teams around the league should ask if the Cardinals are willing to part ways with a former second-round pick.
Miller is unsure former Purdue wideout Rondale Moore will have a large role in Arizona this season. Regardless, Miller thinks teams should call the Cardinals to see what the asking price is for Moore.
“If I were a receiver-needy team, think I’d at least call Arizona and see what’s up with Rondale Moore,” Miller tweeted. “With Nuk, Green and Hollywood there he could be the odd man out. Was a second round pick last year.

As a rookie, Moore had 54 catches for 435 yards and a touchdown.
It’s possible the Cardinals plan on using all four of their wide receivers this fall. That being said, it’s tough to envision Moore receiving more touches than Marquise Brown or DeAndre Hopkins.
With the second day of the 2022 NFL Draft just hours away, it’ll be interesting to see if the Cardinals consider moving on from Moore.
