The Washington Commanders completed another successful practice in Ashburn on Saturday. It was a competitive practice with multiple 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills, some of which favored the defense, others the offense.
Running back Antonio Gibson returned to practice, while the Commanders had to sign two offensive tackles due to injuries along the offensive line.
While Washington hasn’t had to face any major injuries in the early days of camp, the nagging injuries can benefit younger players battling for a roster spot. Rookie tight ends Cole Turner and Curtis Hodges were among those who stood out on day four of Washington’s training camp.
