The second round of the 2022 NFL Draft is already off to an incredible start. Moments ago, the New York Giants and New York Jets agreed to a trade involving a trio of draft picks.
The Giants have traded pick No. 36 to the Jets for pick No. 38 and a fourth-round pick.
This is the second day in a row the Jets moved up. Last night, they traded back into the first round to select Florida State edge rusher Jermaine Johnson II.

So, who did the Jets trade up for on Friday night? It turns out they wanted to upgrade their backfield.
It’s been announced that the Jets are selecting Iowa State running back Breece Hall with the 36th pick.
Hall is widely considered the best running back in this year’s draft class. He finished his college career with 3,941 rushing yards and 56 total touchdowns.

The Jets were one of the big winners on Day 1, drafting Cincinnati cornerback Ahmad ‘Sauce’ Gardner and Ohio State wide receiver Garrett Wilson.
With Hall now on board, the Jets have the pieces in place to be much more explosive this fall.
