On Friday night, the Kansas City Chiefs bolstered their receiving corps by drafting Western Michigan wideout Skyy Moore with the 54th pick. Shortly after the pick was made, Moore had the following message for Patrick Mahomes: “What’s good my boy.”
Mahomes didn’t wait very long to reply to his newest teammate, responding, “Lets get it homie.”
It’ll take time for Mahomes and Moore to develop chemistry on the gridiron, but it certainly appears the MVP quarterback is happy about the move.
Lets get it homie! 💪🏽 https://t.co/Jwd5uI1ow3

Moore had an outstanding 2021 season at Western Michigan, hauling in 95 passes for 1,292 yards and 10 touchdowns. While at the NFL Combine, he ran a 4.41 in the 40-yard dash.
Some analysts thought Moore could potentially sneak into the first round. At the end of the day, Kansas City managed to get him in the back half of the second round.
The Chiefs probably won’t expect Moore to become a Pro Bowl wide receiver as a rookie, but there’s a lot to like about his skillset.
With Mahomes throwing him the ball for the foreseeable future, Moore has to be thrilled about where he landed.
