The Washington Commanders started the season looking like a whole new team with Jayden Daniels under center. However, when the league learned how to defend Daniels, it seems that Kliff Kingsbury has struggled to make much of their playbook work effectively.
With Terry McLaurin’s help, Daniels managed to keep the Commanders in the game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, but it was far closer than it should have been. Daniels and McLaurin can’t do it all on their own, other players on every side of the ball need to step up if the Commanders not only want to make the playoffs but have a legitimate run. They certainly can’t afford to play the Philadelphia Eagles the way they just played the Saints and think they’ll come away with a win.
As we enter Week 17, here’s a look at where the Commanders place in a multitude of power rankings.
