The Washington Commanders are coming off of a thrilling overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons that really never should have gone to overtime. The Falcons have been on a tear since Michael Penix Jr. took over at quarterback, and they gave the Commanders more fits than they were ready for. The burgundy and gold managed to pull it off, though, and clinched a playoff berth in the process.
This week, the Commanders head west to face the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. After losing to this division rival earlier this year, the Commanders are not going to let that happen again. Well, they’ll do everything they can do prevent it. The good news is that the Cowboys can’t do any post-season damage, but the Commanders don’t want to be swept by the likes of the Cowboys.
