Ryan Kerrigan gets his happy ending after all. When Kerrigan left Washington ahead of the 2021 season and signed with the hated Philadelphia Eagles, it left fans feeling sad. It didn’t matter that Kerrigan was at the end of his career; he should’ve retired in Washington.
On Friday, Kerrigan signed a one-day contract with the Commanders to retire with the organization where he spent his first 10 NFL seasons. Kerrigan is Washington’s all-time franchise leader in sacks with 95.5 and is a four-time Pro Bowl selection.
While Kerrigan’s greatness on the field in Washington is well-known, he was equally as productive off the field. Kerrigan spent many years working hard in the DMV community.
