Simone Biles is engaged!
The legendary United States gymnast announced on social media on Tuesday morning that she is engaged to be married to NFL defensive back Jonathan Owens.
Biles, arguably the greatest gymnast of all-time, has been dating the Houston Texans defensive back for multiple years.
The happy couple shared their engagement news on social media.
“WOKE UP A FIANCÉE 💍💍😭 I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married!” she wrote.

Owens, 26, is a St. Louis, Missouri native. He played collegiately at Missouri Western State University and went undrafted coming out of college.
The defensive back signed with the Arizona Cardinals coming out of the NFL Draft. He spent the 2018 and ’19 seasons on the Cardinals practice squad.
Prior to the start of the 2019 season, Owens was picked up by the Houston Texans. He’s been with the AFC South franchise ever since.

Owens made his first big plays this past season. He recorded his first career interception and fumble recovery in an upset win over the Los Angeles Chargers in late December.
While Owens was a major support system for Biles during the Summer Olympics last year, Biles has shown major support for her now-fiance this past season.
