Last night’s first round of the 2022 NFL Draft was packed with trade movement. And as we head into tonight’s second round, it appears even more movement could be on the horizon.
According to NFL insider Jeff Howe of The Athletic, “several teams” are looking to trade up into the second round.
Howe suggested that some of these teams could be looking to land one of this year’s top quarterback options.

By the end of last night’s first round, only one quarterback had been taken off the board. The Pittsburgh Steelers took Kenny Pickett with the No. 20 overall pick, leaving top QB options like Malik Willis, Matt Corral, Sam Howell and Desmond Ridder still up for grabs.
The Carolina Panthers, Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons have all been mentioned as potential takers at the quarterback position. Of these teams, the Vikings currently hold the highest selection with the No. 2 pick in tonight’s second round.
What team would you like to see trade up in tonight’s draft?
