An official announcement hasn’t been made just yet, but it sounds like Tiger Woods has a legitimate shot to compete at Augusta National next week.
During an appearance on the Golf Central podcast, Rex Hoggard of Golf Channel had an update on Woods’ game. Despite suffering a serious injury, Woods has apparently returned to form.
“What I’ve heard from people in South Florida – the actual game itself; ball speed, club head speed, it’s all there, it’s all back,” Hoggard said.
Golf fans are obviously thrilled to hear that Woods’ game is back.
“I understand the PNC is way easier than the tour but did anyone watch him play in December and really doubt this,” one fan said.

Woods’ participation in the 2022 Masters would be great for the sport, there’s no doubt about that.
Hopefully, we’ll see Woods competing at the Masters next week.
