The Washington Commanders are 4-1, winners of four consecutive games after Sunday’s 34-13 beating of the Cleveland Browns.
Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels completed 14 of 25 passes for 238 yards with a touchdown and interception. Daniels also led the Commanders with 82 rushing yards on 11 attempts. Daniels had only 19 incompletions on the season coming into Sunday’s game against Cleveland. Outside of one red-zone throw he’d love to have back, Daniels was excellent again.
With the win, Washington remains atop the NFC East. The crowd at Northwest Stadium was as raucous as it has been in years—in favor of the home team—and the excitement surrounding the Commanders and Daniels continues to build.
