Washington Football Team offensive tackle Saahdiq Charles was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday. Charles started his first game of the season in a Week 8 loss to the Denver Broncos at right tackle.
Now, per John Keim of ESPN, Charles, who is vaccinated, will need two negative tests in 24 hours to be able to play on Sunday.
Washington OL Saahdiq Charles is being placed on the reserve/Covid list per source. He has been vaccinated so he would need two negative Covid tests in 24 hours to be able to play Sunday. If Sam Cosmi and Cornelius Lucas are healthy, Charles might be inactive anyway.

Washington is expecting starting right tackle Sam Cosmi to return on Sunday, as well as top reserve tackle Cornelius Lucas. Charles will likely be inactive if both play, which was the case through the first five weeks before Cosmi missed three games.
Charles had a challenging game in pass protection against the Broncos but did have a solid performance as a run blocker. A former left tackle at LSU, Washington likes Charles’ versatility and played him briefly at guard in 2020 before he was injured and lost for the season.
