Home favorites
The Washington Commanders are on a three-game winning streak, and have averaged 40 points per game over the last two weeks. Jayden Daniels continues to play at a high level for a rookie, and looks very comfortable running an NFL offense under Kliff Kingsbury.
The Commanders open up the week as 3-point favorites over the Cleveland Browns. Washington returns home after spending the last two weeks on the road, traveling directly to Arizona from Cleveland. The Browns are 1-3, with their only win coming against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2. They are scoring an average of 16.5 points per game, while giving up an average of 21.8 points per game. Washington’s defense was a major issue over the first three weeks, but they looked much better in Arizona, helping the team with a dominating 42-14 win over the Cardinals.
The O/U opens at 43.5 which seems low for a home team that just scored 42 on the road. Washington looks like the best team in the NFC East, and they have the momentum that the Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants are missing this year.
