Paige Spiranac likes to keep her personal life private, but the former professional golfer recently shared some notable news.
The former University of Arizona and San Diego State University golfer is no longer married.
“I do get this question a lot so I do want to address it. I was married,” Spiranac said during an Instagram Q&A. “I am no longer married and if you could just respect my privacy it would mean a lot to me.”
Spiranac, who has more than 3 million followers on Instagram, used to play professional golf. She’s since gotten into the sports media world, hosting a podcast and working in the sports gambling space.
It’s rare to hear Spiranac open up about her personal life, but following her apparent divorce, she felt it was necessary.
Spiranac was reportedly married to Steven Tinoco, a personal trainer and former professional baseball player. The couple was reportedly engaged in 2016 and got married a couple of years later.
“I met him at the start of my career, so we have done this entire thing together. He is so understanding and knows this is a business for me,” she said.
